We recognize that providing training for employees in your organization is a multifaceted and challenging role filled with a complex array of issues. Part of CAIT’s mission through the years has been to provide a forum for professionals to interact with their peers over complex issues, sharing insights and experience. A May, 2007 survey of persons in CAIT member organizations suggested interest in a similar opportunity for those who support a training mission.
The Training Issues Roundtable is offered as a FREE service to the training community. Its goal is to provide a discussion and learning forum for training-related professionals to interact with peers on challenging topics of interest.
A planning workshop was held in September, 2007, in which participants established topics for 8 sessions. In June, 2008, roundtable participants voted to continue meeting. At the November 2008 meeting, members developed a new list of topics for the 2009 meetings.
Monthly meetings are on the second Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at CAIT. Meetings are usually presentations or demonstrations with facilitated discussion. We use internal and external speakers. For your review, a log of topics are listed below.
We ask that you circulate this information as an invitation to appropriate colleagues both inside and outside your organization, and join us by registering for the next meeting.
