- Boeing Employees: please follow the registration instructions below
Boeing employees are strongly encouraged to take classes that appear in the "Boeing Partnership Schedule” whenever possible for two reasons: 1) all of these classes are eligible for payment under the Boeing “Learning Together” program, creating savings for you and/or your department; and 2) these courses are guaranteed to apply toward earning the Boeing Partnership Certificates, which in turn are the certificates awarded at the annual commencement ceremony at Boeing. Note that all of the classes listed in the Boeing Partnership Schedule meet outside of normal working hours, i.e. either weekdays after 5 p.m. or on Saturdays. To register for a class that appears in the Boeing Partnership Schedule, follow the instructions above under General Registration Instructions. Boeing employees must also register with the Learning Together program, from which a payment voucher will be issued. Please send this payment voucher to training@cait.wustl.edu. If you would like to take a class that does not appear in the Boeing Partnership Schedule (i.e. that takes place during normal working hours), you may still have this course funded by Learning Together and applied to a Boeing Certificate if you take this course during your personal time (e.g. on days you are taking vacation, during flex work week off-hours, etc.). For approval or if you have any questions, please contact Total Access at 1-866-473-2016.
For further information, you may contact any member of the Boeing/Washington University Curriculum Planning Committee.
We will confirm your registration by e-mail within one business day. A second e-mail will be sent about two weeks prior to each class to serve as a reminder of the class schedule and location. Be sure to bring your confirmation letter with you to each class session and place it on your dashboard – it also serves as your parking permit!
- Before registering, you should make sure you have fulfilled the course prerequisites as listed in the Course Description section.
- The purpose of these prerequisites is to ensure students have the proper background to absorb the material presented in each class.
- If you have not taken the listed prerequisites but feel you have already gained this knowledge from similar classes or experience, you may seek permission to waive these requirements by contacting training@cait.wustl.edu or (314) 935-4444.
Note that classes are held in several locations in the St. Louis area. Please check the course schedule and your confirmation letter for the location of your class.
For weekday classes (before 4:30 p.m.), please park in our garage on levels 5 or 6. On evenings and weekends, you may park on any level, but level 1 is best. More detailed instructions are available here. Be sure to bring your confirmation letter with you to each class session and place it on your dashboard – it also serves as your parking permit! If you need another parking permit, please contact us at training@cait.wustl.edu or (314) 935-4444, or stop-by CAIT administrative offices during business hours.

Please read carefully the e-mail you will receive that confirms your registration for a class. Depending on the class*, you will need to cancel or reschedule your registration either 12 business days or 8 business days in advance of the start date of the class to avoid a cancellation fee.

100% attendance is expected at all sessions. If you miss a session, make-up work is required to receive the course completion certificate. As soon as you know that you will miss a session, please contact the instructor to ensure that the material may be completed with make-up work. If you are unable to contact the instructor, please call (314) 935-4444.
To learn about class cancellations due to inclement weather, call (314) 935-4444 for a recorded message. The message will be posted two hours prior to class start time.
Occasionally, CAIT cancels scheduled classes due to an insufficient number of registered students, an unexpected change in the availability of an instructor, or other reasons. Upon cancellation, the individual who placed the registration will be notified immediately. At your discretion, we can either attempt to reschedule you for a class at a later date or cancel your registration. If CAIT has already collected funds for the canceled class, you may choose to have these dollars refunded or applied to another class. All students will automatically be placed on a waiting list upon the course cancellation. This ensures that each student will be notified the next three times that the canceled course is on the schedule.
CAIT will develop customized and private classes on demand given a minimum number of students. We also welcome new course suggestions. If you would like to explore these opportunities, please contact training@cait.wustl.edu or (314) 935-4444. We would also be glad to meet with you.
If you have met the requirements for a Certificate of Advanced Studies and would like to receive the Certificate, please send an e-mail to training@cait.wustl.edu that provides your name, social security number, the name of the certificate you are requesting, and the names of the classes you would like to apply to the certificate's requirements. If needed for mailing purposes, we will also need your Mail Code, Employee Number, and/or Department number. Please note that classes may only be applied toward the requirements of a single certificate and that all courses must be completed at the time of your request. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing and delivery.
- Individual courses may only be applied toward earning one Certificate.
- If you have already applied a course toward another certificate, or have sufficient prior knowledge or coursework, you may be able to substitute classes with the same number of elective hours. Call (314) 935-4444 for details.
Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) are earned for each class that you attend. They are earned at a rate of 0.1 CEU for each class hour. (Example: For a class listed with 12 Elective Hours in the Course Description section, you will earn 1.2 CEU’s).
CAIT complies with the requirements of The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which affords students certain rights with respect to their education records.
If your desired course is not currently on the schedule, please contact training@cait.wustl.edu or (314) 935-4444 to be added to the waiting list for this course. This ensures that you will be notified via e-mail of the next three course sessions.
